WTO Chairs Programme (WCP) Research Hub at WTO Public Forum 2026

The WTO Chairs Programme will host a Research Hub of six sessions in the framework of the 2026 WTO Public Forum.

All sessions will take place on 17 September at the WTO Library.

Starting at 09:00 with a session on Trading Culture: Sustainable Tourism and Creative Services. Featuring WCP chairs from India, Mexico, and Peru.

Then at 10:30 with a session on Seven Pillars for Inclusive Services Trade. This session will feature WCP chairs from Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru, and Chile.

At 12:00, a session on Are Services Hubs Key to Structural Transformation in LDCs? This session will feature WCP chairs from Nigeria, South Africa, and Tanzania, as well as WTO services expert Martin Roy.

At 14:15, a session on Trade in Services: Intelligence, Sustainability & Inclusion. Featuring WCP chairs and researchers from South Africa, Chinese Taipei, and Cameroon.

Then at 15:45, a session on How Digital Delivery Transforms Services Trade. This session will feature WCP chairs from Pakistan, Qatar, Uzbekistan, and China.

Concluding at 17:15 with a session on Trade in Services for Female Entrepreneurs in LDCs. Featuring WCP chairs from Nigeria, Indonesia, and Tanzania, alongside WTO Development expert Anoush der Boghossian.
